«Now is the time to choose a side»: A call to Romanians in Italy to support Simion

From May 2 to 4, millions of Romanians living abroad will be called to vote. In Italy, over one million Romanian citizens reside — a vast, rooted community that works, studies, and builds. A community that, today, can make the difference.

The vote of Romanians in Italy could be decisive for the outcome of the presidential elections. It will determine whether Romania returns to being a true democracy or remains hostage to a system that answers to the diktats of globalist elites and the international left.

George Simion is not just another candidate who promises and then betrays. He is a man fighting against a corrupt system that has already shown it does not respect the will of the people. That same system removed Georgescu — founder of the AUR movement — from power, even after a legitimate election. It was a maneuver orchestrated by the Romanian deep state, endorsed by the bureaucrats in Brussels.

They arrested him without solid charges, dragged him out of his car like a criminal. Simply because he represented a different idea: that power should belong to the people.

Simion has picked up that flag and today he needs every single voice, every single vote — especially from Romanians living in Italy. Because you know what it means to have left your homeland in search of dignity, but you also know what it means not to give up.

Romania is a nation that has already endured oppression. It lived through communist dictatorship, endured surveillance, propaganda, fear. But the Romanian people rose again. They fought for freedom — and because of that, they know its value. And they can see the signs when that freedom is once again in danger.

«We are not a colony,» Simion said. And he’s right. We are not — and we must never be again. Voting now means choosing whether to remain a free people or to submit to the power games of those who want a Europe without identity, without borders, without nations.

Simion defends sovereignty, Christian faith, and national dignity. He does it with courage and coherence, even when it means facing attacks, censorship, and attempts to discredit him. His project, MEGA – «Make Europe Great Again» – is more than a slogan. It’s the idea that Europe can be rebuilt by its peoples, not by its bureaucrats. And it’s the hope that, starting with Romania, a chain reaction can begin — a wave that will spread across the continent.

That’s why, to all of you living in Italy, I say: don’t stand by. Don’t let tomorrow come with the regret of a missed opportunity.

Voting from May 2 to 4 is a simple act, but one filled with meaning and responsibility. Do it for yourselves. Do it for those back home. Do it for those yet to come. Now is the time to choose a side. And this time, every single vote can shape history.
